All dancers will perform in the 2:30 Show.
Doors will open 45 min prior to the rehearsal and the recital - Please show up on time, dressed and ready with shoes and accessories. We encourage you to put their names on their shoes so they are not misplaced or accidentally swapped.
Parking is availble in front, on the side, and in the back of the auditorium.
Dancers can enter through the front or back of the auditorium. If you are entering through the back door - please only have one guardian accompanying your dancer. Dancers will have changing areas set up backstage, so no male guradians will be able to enter through the back door.
As soon as you arrive, please bring the dancers to their designated row in the auditorium - rows will have signs with song titles and costume colors.
Dancers will stay in their designated group row in the auditorium for the duration of the show. A parent is welcome to sit with their dancer if need be.
No food or drinks will be allowed in the auditorium. Light snacks and refreshments will be avaiable in the lobby during intermission.
No flash photography or videography will be allowed during the recital. It is distracting to the dancers on stage and it’s also for the protection of our students and choreographers. We have hired a professional videographer to record the show - details on how to order recital videos will be sent out via email and will also be available on our website.
We ask that all dancers and families stay until the end of the show. As soon as the show is over, dancers will be allowed on stage to receive flowers, take pictures and visit with family. The stage will be cleared 30 min after the show has ended. Please gather all of their belongings before you leave.
We have created a guideline for make-up for all dancers. Stage lights are bright, so make-up will need to be a little heavier in order for them not to drown out while they are on stage. We realize not all kids are excited about make-up so just do your best!
Eyes - Eyeshadow (Browns and Natural Tones), Black Mascara, and if they let you - eyeliner
Cheeks - Dark Pink Blush
COSTUME & ACCESSORIES
All costumes will be in between this week and next week! As soon as your costume is in, we will email/text each class and let you know when you are able to pick them up at the studio!
A pair of tights is included and will be handed out along with your costume.
The list below includes details about shoes, hair and lip color for each group! If you have a question about shoes or any other details, please let you teacher know this week!
Please make sure all dancers do not have jewlery on during the performance. Small stud earrings are okay if they are necessary.
If you have any questions about cosutmes/shoes/tights - please reach out to your teacher this week!
Recital Show Line-Up
Recital Picture Day Information
Recital pictures will be take Thursday, May 12th @ the studio. The tentative schedule for recital picture day can be found below. We will send a final schedule out next week! We would love for all dancers to be included in class photos as well as have an individual picture of them for our studio composite. Robbyn Dodd Photography will be taking all recital pictures and will have several options available if you are interested in purchasing group or individual photos. Information on how to purchase pictures will also be sent out soon!
Dancers should show up in costume with hair and make-up done and all shoes.
Please arrive on time or a few minutes early for your classes scheduled picture time!
We will take a class group picture first, then will follow with individual pictures.
